Since the last message, I've eaten sushis, I have been doing some sport, learned and read for the tests at university next week, and I have been contacted for a summer job (wich is if they take me the equivalent of lots of shopping and a trip to Japan last summer. So : I really hope they will take me).
And a funny link discovered by Safir : Ready Mech. You print the schema, you cut, you score, you stick, and you have a great paper toy. We'll show you the result when we will try, we don't have double-sided tape right now. They are very fun, there is even a paper version of Marcel Duchamp's fountain (the last one in the pictures I've added). Click here if you don't know what it looks like. Even the title, "Ready Mech", remind me of Duchamp's "Ready Made". Have fun !

See you soon for more food, more fashion, more pictures, more music, or anything else !

I like reading news on the net every morning, I'm going to the internet version of the french newspaper. On one of them, there is a page called "À l'oeil nu", with a selection of pictures taken everywhere around the world, funny, moving, beautiful or strange. Little pieces of life elsewhere that I love to discover. It makes me want to travel all around the world.
Here it is : http://www.lefigaro.fr/photos-du-jour/
A little selection :

As you may know, french people are going to vote on sunday for their new president. I have made my final choice a few days ago, never too late ! I really hope we won't fall on a bad guy (like the two pitbulls on the second line, or another one, I let you find it).
Something funnier. Right now, there is a lot of "posters" on the walls, for the different candidates. And thanks to some persons with a good sense of humor, among this, there are posters for the election of former candidates. Chirac, or Mitterand, who are no longer standing for the elections (pictures from lefigaro.fr).

And a little touch of elegance, a dress with the image of one of the candidate, Ségolène Royal. Sorry, I don't know who did it.

Well, I was waiting for someone else to post, but looks like I'm the only one motivated here !
Right now, with the summer coming, I'm thinking of clothes, so here is a little selection of the things that makes me dream, or just that I found interesting or original. Nooo I'm not obssessed. Maybe a little. Sorry if it's too long !
Paul Smith, very simple but very nice. I like the whole thing.
Givenchy : the clothes are good, but I mostly fell in love with the tights, they exist in black and white. Silver make-up too.

Karl Lagerfeld. His own collection is nice, I like these two dresses, and the tights with black shoes.

Jean-Paul Gaultier. Almost all the things he does are great, but not always wearable. Here I like the white transparent top with vest. The shoes are very original, a mix with kind of Converse shoes and sandals. He is the only one who could have had that idea !

Jil Sander. I've seen the blue dress at the Printemps shop in Paris, it's gorgeous, the blue klein is wonderful. The yellow shirt is flashy, but I've seen it in a magazine, the result is really nice.

Marc by Marc Jacob. I guess I will be closer to that look, even if I love all the things I posted here. More simple, less expensive, pretty natural.

Chloé, very nice but even if I could afford one thing of what they wear, I don't think I could have it, it was everywhere on advertising and must have been gone for a while.

Sonia Rykiel. I love her clothes, and by chance I don't need to go to Paris to buy her clothes. These two dresses are very summer, very fresh, I love them.

Of course Chanel. Hope I will be able to wear one of their dress one day, before I'm 50 years old and size 44, if possible. The black dress is so elegant ...

Louis Vuiton. This look is great, and the model, Jessica Stam make it even better. Nice hair, with the flowers.
I love the necklace too, even it's strange here with the scarf. It's on the cover of the last Numéro magazine, in a longer version (until the navel). This short version cost 280 euros, and the longer between 400 and 500 euros.

Food is good, but fashion is better ! I'd like to present a great website, showing the best styles in Tokyo. It's separated by neighbourhood, Harakuju, Shibuya, Omotesando, Daikanyama and Ginza.
From the excentric style of Harajuku to the classic and BCBG style of Ginza, there is a lot of different looks, very inspiring and it is a nice glimpse of the atmosphere of Tokyo's streets.
Have a look !
